Our Investment Thesis
Dots.capital is an activist investor fund leveraging massive investment networks and deep market knowledge to back category winners. With a track record as a repeat out-performer, we have garnered insights on critical elements that are the hallmark of successful projects. We have worked with numerous founders to ensure their projects address these elements to ensure success.
Our chief model for success has been:
1) a detailed understanding of the crypto-macro — the over-arching narratives that define the passage of the market cycles, and
2) an ability to pickup emergent micro-trends and aggressively establish positions in category leaders and out-performers.
Given the speed with which crypto moves and the steep asymmetries involved, we have invested heavily in establishing a strong network and web-of-information, which has been critical to sustained outperformance. In a space that has grown 6x in total market-cap and where holding funding assets like Ether have yielded near 1000% returns in a short 6 months, it isn’t difficult to make money. However, the most outsized returns still accrue to those who:

- Triage effectively and move aggressively to back category winners, and
- Repeat consistently
